WEBVTT

1
00:00:01.201 --> 00:00:05.212
In this episode we open the business page in the console. It is where you see what

2
00:00:05.212 --> 00:00:06.974
is running, and where you manage it.

3
00:00:09.449 --> 00:00:14.083
You are signed in as the owner of Echo Cycles. Tap the business in the list to open

4
00:00:14.083 --> 00:00:14.586
its page.

5
00:00:16.315 --> 00:00:21.473
The page is a stack of cards, each one about one part of your business. The name and

6
00:00:21.473 --> 00:00:25.219
its status are at the top. Active means it is up and running.

7
00:00:26.095 --> 00:00:31.056
The first card is your business address. Open back office takes you to the back

8
00:00:31.056 --> 00:00:34.133
office, and Open business to the business itself.

9
00:00:34.378 --> 00:00:39.820
Under it, Custom hostnames lets you serve the business on your own domain too. We

10
00:00:39.820 --> 00:00:41.971
look at that in a later episode.

11
00:00:42.163 --> 00:00:47.045
The Payments card is for taking card payments through your own Stripe account. For

12
00:00:47.045 --> 00:00:50.320
now it says Not connected. A later episode connects it.

13
00:00:51.483 --> 00:00:56.069
Fleet health lists the servers that handle your business. Here, one of one is up.

14
00:00:56.069 --> 00:00:59.467
You see its name, its version, and when it last reported in.

15
00:01:01.168 --> 00:01:05.435
The refresh button on a card reloads it, so you can watch a change happen.

16
00:01:06.687 --> 00:01:11.989
Store servers are small servers you keep in a store. They keep that store trading

17
00:01:11.989 --> 00:01:17.030
even when the internet is down. You have none yet; the next episode adds one.

18
00:01:17.310 --> 00:01:22.662
Stores and their servers lists each store and who serves it. Main Street, code MAIN,

19
00:01:22.662 --> 00:01:28.013
is served by the cloud. The Move store to server button is greyed out until you have

20
00:01:28.013 --> 00:01:29.861
a store server to move it to.

21
00:01:30.011 --> 00:01:35.058
Export your data makes an encrypted copy of everything, which you can download. It

22
00:01:35.058 --> 00:01:36.290
has its own episode.

23
00:01:37.603 --> 00:01:41.321
At the very bottom is Delete this business. Take care with it.

24
00:01:42.580 --> 00:01:47.257
That is the tour. Next, we add a store server and move a store onto it.
