0:00 Introduction

While a door is open, the back office shows what is happening at it, live. In this episode we read the Door page, and deal with a scan that needs a manager's attention.

0:11 The Door page

In the menu, under Events, choose Door.

The Performance box at the top chooses the showing. The page opens on the performance that is on now, or the next one. We choose the concert that has had scans.

At the top, admitted over expected: how many people are inside, out of the tickets that are good for the door now. Beside it, the scans taken, and how many flags are waiting for you.

Gates lists each scanner that has sent scans, with its scans and the people it let in. A second scan of a ticket counts as a scan, but not as another person.

0:50 Flagged scans

Flagged scans are the ones that need a look: a ticket scanned twice, a valid ticket the door did not know about, a person let in despite a refusal, or a forged code. The person is already inside, so nothing was refused. This one says Scanned twice, with when and where the ticket was first admitted.

Press Resolve, say what was done, and press Resolve again. The note is kept with the scan, and the flag moves to Resolved.

The buttons above the list switch between the flags waiting for you, the ones already resolved, and every scan. Every scan is kept, with when it was made and by which scanner.

Each row of the list shows when the scan was made, what the door decided, the ticket with its seat and type, the gate, and the details.

In the next episode, we deal with a change of plans.
