One purchase for the same seat in several performances: making a pass, choosing its performances, pricing it and publishing it.

0:00 Introduction

A season pass sells the same seat in several performances, as one purchase. In this episode we make a pass for three concerts, price it, and put it on sale.

0:10 A new pass

In the menu, under Events, choose Season passes.

The list shows each pass with its event, its status, and how many have been sold and held. Press New pass.

Give the pass a name and a description. The event and the seat map decide which ticket types it sells, and cannot change once the pass is made. We call ours the Summer Season Pass.

A pass has one booking fee, however many performances it covers. We set two dollars. Then press Create pass.

0:42 Performances and prices

Now choose the performances. Tick every showing the pass includes. They must all be on the pass's seat map, so that one seat is the same seat in each. A pass needs at least two.

Press Save performances. Once the pass has sold, its performances are fixed.

The price grid is for the whole pass: one price for each zone and ticket type, covering all the performances together. Each performance's ticket gets its share of the price.

Press Save prices.

1:13 Publishing

Scroll up and press Publish. This makes the pass's product in your catalogue, which the register and the online store sell. It needs a price and at least two performances that have not started.

At the register, the pass dialog says what it includes and costs, and the seat map shows a seat only when it is free in every performance. The online store shows the pass on the event page, with its own seat picker.

1:38 Holders

Every pass seat sold becomes a pass holder, with a ticket for each performance. Nothing has sold of this pass yet. Scroll down and press All holders.

This list is for the pass we just made, so it is empty. Choose another pass in the Pass box, and the list shows each pass seat sold, with its type, the receipt it was sold on, its price, how many of its tickets are still good, and its status.

You can also filter by status, and search by name, seat or receipt.

That is event ticketing: venues and seat maps, events and prices, selling at the register and online, delivery, the door, changes, and season passes.
